Creative Marketing Designer
Candy Funhouse
Location: Mississauga, ON
Type: Full-time
Work setup: On-site
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year
About Candy Funhouse
Candy Funhouse is a candy and pop-culture brand creating products, content, and collaborations people want to share.
We work across e-commerce, social media, retail, licensed products, athlete and creator collaborations, and our own growing lineup of Candy Funhouse products.
We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Designer who can combine strong design skills with content, campaigns, and marketing execution.
The Role
This is a hands-on creative role combining graphic design, content, campaigns, e-commerce, and brand marketing.
You’ll help turn ideas into finished work across social media, email, our website, campaigns, product launches, packaging, and partnerships.
One day you might be designing social creative or an email campaign. The next, you could be helping launch a new candy product, developing creative for an athlete collaboration, building website assets, or turning a cultural moment into a campaign.
We want someone who can bring ideas, make the creative, and get the work out.
What You’ll Do
- Design creative for social media, email, web, promotions, campaigns, and product launches
- Create graphics and content for Candy Funhouse products and collaborations
- Develop creative concepts for campaigns, launches, and cultural moments
- Support athlete, creator, entertainment, and licensed-brand partnerships
- Help plan and execute social media content
- Create templates and reusable creative in Canva and Adobe
- Support website and e-commerce creative
- Help with product photography, shoots, and content creation
- Create launch materials, digital ads, banners, emails, and sales assets
- Support packaging and product creative
- Track candy, food, social media, sports, entertainment, and pop-culture trends and turn them into ideas for the brand
- Keep creative files, projects, and deadlines organized
- Work closely with our marketing, content, e-commerce, and product teams
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, creative marketing, content, or a related role
- Strong graphic design skills
- A portfolio that shows your work
- Strong Canva skills
- Experience with Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and digital content
- Strong visual judgment
- Ability to take an idea from concept to finished creative
- Comfortable working across multiple projects
- Good communication and writing skills
- Able to work from our Mississauga office
We care more about your portfolio, ideas, and ability to execute than a specific degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience with consumer products, food, candy, CPG, e-commerce, retail, entertainment, or pop culture
- Social-first design experience
- Basic video editing or motion design skills
- Experience with Figma, Premiere Pro, or After Effects
- Shopify experience
- Email marketing experience
- Product or packaging design experience
- Experience working with athletes, creators, influencers, or licensed brands
- Experience using AI tools for design, content, or marketing
Who Will Do Well Here
You’ll probably like this role if you:
- Follow brands, creators, trends, sports, entertainment, and internet culture
- Have a strong eye for what looks good
- Like creating things and seeing your work go live
- Can move quickly without sacrificing quality
- Bring ideas instead of waiting for every idea to be handed to you
- Enjoy working across different projects and parts of a brand
Please include a link to your portfolio or examples of your work
Portfolio required.
We review the creative work first. We care much more about what you can make than a long cover letter.
