Sous Chef, Cantina del Centro Revelstoke
Full-time · Year-round · $22-$25/hr based on experience + tips

Run service alongside the Chef, and take the kitchen when they’re off
Lead, train and develop the line so the whole team keeps getting better
Keep the line fast, clean and consistent, from the first ticket to the last
Help manage prep, ordering, inventory and food costs (we use R365)
Keep food safety and kitchen standards where they belong, which is high
Bring ideas. Specials, systems and better ways of doing things are all welcome.

What you bring

2+ years in a leadership role in a busy, high-volume kitchen
A love for bold, bright food. Mexican cooking experience is a big plus, but curiosity counts too
Calm under pressure. Tranquilo, even on a Saturday in ski season
FOODSAFE Level 1 (Level 2 is a bonus)
Strong communication and the kind of leadership people actually want to follow
Open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays

What you get

Steady, year-round, full-time work
$22-$25/hr + Gratuities
Benefits, staff meals, dining discount, etc.
A real path to grow, with a restaurant group that has kitchens in Nelson, Kelowna, and Revelstoke
A team that works hard, cooks well and has fun doing it
A life in Revelstoke, with the mountains right outside the back door
