Job Description:

Qualifications And Skills Required

5+ years of experience in Capital Markets, supporting back-office operations.
Experience working closely with end users, resolving day-to-day operational issues, converting functional gaps into technical specifications, and planning development activities.
Good knowledge and experience with .NET Framework 4.0/3.5, SQL, XML, and Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019.
Strong knowledge of MSSQL, PL/SQL, and Stored Procedures.
Support Engineer experience in handling incidents.
Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, development, and debugging, with the ability to learn and deploy on the job.
Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting.
Agile Scrum experience is desirable.
Experience with Control-M and OBM monitoring.
Integration experience is desirable.
Good knowledge of trade lifecycle, accounting/ledgering, and integration with third-party financial products such as FIS, Bloomberg, and BNY.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support for incidents and service requests in a Capital Markets environment.
Support maintenance, enhancements, and development activities.
Maintain team governance routines, including updates to procedures and preparation of documentation for governance forums and meetings.
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and a high degree of independence.
Propose areas for improvement based on stakeholder input and analysis of related data.
Perform regular system checks and analyses and provide reports on system functionality and service levels.
Troubleshoot and restore system processing in the event of incidents and problems.
Help drive platform transformation strategies using new technologies and tools that best support business needs.
Design, architect, and successfully implement effective, high-quality solutions that resolve complex business problems and support business requirements.
Ensure delivery according to pre-agreed timelines and budget constraints.
Ensure integrity, quality, performance, and reliability by building automated testing and regression suites and applying DevOps principles.
Effectively manage a team of technical professionals, including software engineers and developers, by setting expectations, monitoring performance, and providing technical guidance and coaching.
Assist in talent acquisition and team building activities.

Work Arrangement

US holidays to be followed.
Work from the client location in Montreal, 5 days a week, for the first 3 months.
Work From Home (WFH) available on a voluntary basis for up to 2 days per week after 2 months of joining, subject to manager discretion.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 60,000 to 75,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
