Job Role - Market Unit Leader – Financial Services | Data, Analytics & AI (Senior Director)

Job Location – Toronto, ON

Job type – Full-time

Choosing Capgemini means joining a company where you can shape your career, collaborate with talented colleagues across the globe, and help some of the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology.

We are looking for an accomplished Financial Services consulting and sales leader to drive the growth of our Data, Analytics and AI business across strategic Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management and Insurance clients.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines deep Financial Services expertise, executive client relationships, consulting sales leadership and a strong understanding of Data & AI transformation. You will own strategic client growth, build and expand executive relationships, shape large-scale transformation opportunities, and work across Capgemini to bring the best of our Data, Analytics and AI capabilities to our clients.

What You’ll Lead

Own and drive the growth strategy for a Financial Services Data, Analytics and AI consulting portfolio.
Lead sales and account growth across named strategic Financial Services clients, with responsibility for large-scale consulting opportunities and engagements.
Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, senior business leaders and technology decision-makers.
Identify, shape and convert new opportunities while expanding existing strategic engagements.
Act as a senior advisor to clients on their Data, Analytics, AI and digital transformation priorities.
Lead complex pursuits from opportunity identification through solutioning, executive presentations, commercials and closure.
Partner with solution, delivery, alliance and account teams to develop differentiated, outcome-driven propositions.
Lead commercial negotiations and the development of Statements of Work for strategic engagements.
Build senior-level relationships across the Financial Services ecosystem and strengthen Capgemini’s market presence.
Partner with staffing and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure successful fulfillment and delivery of critical client demand.
Provide leadership, mentorship and people care for consulting teams supporting the portfolio.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a proven leader with a combination of consulting, technology, Financial Services and business development experience, including:

Significant experience in IT services, consulting sales, sales enablement or account growth within Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management or Insurance.
Proven experience leading and closing IT consulting engagements with annual values exceeding $25M+.
Strong executive relationships and an established network within the Financial Services industry.
Deep understanding of one or more Financial Services domains, including:
Commercial Banking
Payments & Treasury
Lending & Credit
Cards
Wealth & Investment Management
Capital Markets
Strong understanding of Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Intelligent Automation and Digital Transformation and how these technologies create business value.
Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior client executives, translating business priorities into transformation opportunities.
Experience developing executive-level proposals, commercial solutions and strategic client presentations.
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
Experience working successfully across global and multicultural organizations.
Prior technology delivery or program leadership experience is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Why This Role

This is more than a traditional sales position. It is an opportunity to shape a strategic Financial Services market, influence major client transformation agendas, build executive relationships and grow a significant Data & AI consulting business.

If you have built trusted relationships within Financial Services, led complex technology consulting pursuits, and know how to turn emerging technologies such as AI and Data into meaningful business outcomes, we would like to hear from you.
