Role Summary
We’re in search of a Senior Salesforce Functional Lead for the largest Salesforce CRM platform at a leading banking client in Canada. You’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive agile lab delivering solutions on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. We’re employing the latest technology and scaled agile practices to help bring to life the CRM Advisor Platform as part of the journey to become a digitally enabled relationship bank. This role is ideal for a Salesforce professional with deep implementation experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering scalable, high-impact Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across Retail, Commercial, Advice Centre, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Private Banking, and other functions to understand business processes, user journeys, and refine requirements.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and walkthroughs to translate business needs into clearly defined functional requirements and Epics.
- Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through Salesforce capabilities.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and proposed Salesforce solutions.
- Leverage Salesforce Financial Services Cloud best practices to design strategic solutions that meet business goals.
- Configure proof-of-concept solutions in Salesforce demo environments to validate approaches with Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Present solutions to Architecture Design Review Boards when custom components are required.
- Assess dependencies across legacy systems, core platforms, and data warehouses to ensure successful integration.
- Propose scalable and reusable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, compliance, and data governance standards.
- Guide functional designers in converting business requirements and solution specifications into actionable user stories.
- Partner with Product Owners and technical leads to manage backlogs and prioritize features based on business value.
- Define KPIs, success metrics, and acceptance criteria aligned to business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and reduced manual effort.
- Support change management and training initiatives to drive user adoption and successful implementation outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead.
- 3+ years of experience within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at scale within highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of banking workflows, customer lifecycle management, product lifecycle processes, and financial compliance requirements.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (Sales and/or Service).
- Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking platforms, enterprise systems, and data lakes.
- Ability to lead discussions with business stakeholders, executives, senior leaders, and technical teams.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and DevOps pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Large-scale Salesforce CRM transformation experience.
- Experience supporting retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management, or advisor platform initiatives.
- Experience presenting solutions to architecture governance and design review boards.
- Experience designing scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions across multiple business units.
- Strong change management and user adoption experience.
- Experience working within complex, highly regulated banking environments.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $49.83/hour - $77.86/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
