Job Description

Location: Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
Work Model: 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote
Work Authorization: Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR) and able to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Position Overview

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a leading Canadian banking client.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring a strong blend of solution architecture, technical design, development leadership, and enterprise integration expertise. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and development teams in a complex, highly regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions.
Provide hands-on technical leadership across development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce architectures aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
Lead development teams and conduct technical design and code reviews.
Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven architectures.
Drive architecture and design discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
Establish development standards, DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and governance frameworks.
Mentor developers and promote engineering excellence across the delivery team.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Delivery Leads to define implementation roadmaps.
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, risk, and data governance requirements.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of overall IT experience.
8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations in a Technical Lead or Solution Architecture capacity.

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
Sales Cloud
Service Cloud
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce Integrations and APIs
Platform Events
Salesforce Flow and Automation
Security and Sharing Model

Experience designing enterprise integration solutions and API-led architectures.
Strong understanding of Salesforce SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
Experience leading distributed development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering Salesforce solutions within Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, or Financial Services environments.
Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations serving 1,000+ users.
Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications.
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud certification or accreditation.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce Technical Lead who combines deep Financial Services Cloud expertise with strong leadership capabilities.
