Position Overview
Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a leading Canadian banking client.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring a strong blend of solution architecture, technical design, development leadership, and enterprise integration expertise. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and development teams in a complex, highly regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce architectures aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Lead development teams and conduct technical design and code reviews.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Drive architecture and design discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
- Establish development standards, DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and governance frameworks.
- Mentor developers and promote engineering excellence across the delivery team.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Delivery Leads to define implementation roadmaps.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, risk, and data governance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations in a Technical Lead or Solution Architecture capacity.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Integrations and APIs
- Platform Events
- Salesforce Flow and Automation
- Security and Sharing Model
- Experience designing enterprise integration solutions and API-led architectures.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
- Experience leading distributed development teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering Salesforce solutions within Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, or Financial Services environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations serving 1,000+ users.
- Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certifications.
- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud certification or accreditation.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$120,000 - $130,000 / yearly CAD.
