Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Leadership

Design enterprise-scale data architecture using Microsoft Fabric components.

Lead technical design reviews and architecture discussions.

Establish data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

Advanced Data Engineering

Design scalable ELT frameworks using Fabric Data Factory, Spark Notebooks, Lakehouse,

Warehouse and OneLake

Build high-volume customer data pipelines supporting batch and near real-time processing.

Implement reusable ingestion and transformation frameworks.

Optimize large-scale workloads for performance and cost efficiency.

Data Governance & Security

Design data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions.

Implement lineage, governance, and metadata management standards.

Team Leadership

Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers.

Lead code reviews and solution governance activities.

Drive Agile delivery and sprint planning activities.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $149,387 to $174,928.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. Design and lead enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric data architecture, reusable ELT frameworks, and high-volume batch and near-real-time data pipelines, optimizing performance and cost. Establish data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata practices while mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and supporting Agile delivery.

Requirements

Requires 10–15 years of data engineering experience, including at least three years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
