Role Description: We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Career Coach to provide individualized career development support to individuals at various stages of their professional journeys. The successful candidate will utilize evidence-informed coaching methodologies, career assessment tools, and practical career development strategies to help clients identify their strengths, clarify career goals, navigate transitions, and achieve meaningful professional outcomes. The Career Coach will work independently under a contractual arrangement, delivering structured coaching sessions, developing individualized career action plans, and monitoring client progress against established objectives.

Qualifications

• Deliver individualized career coaching sessions to clients with diverse professional backgrounds, experiences, and career aspirations.
• Support clients with career exploration, career transitions, professional advancement, job search strategies, and work-life integration.
• Assist clients in identifying transferable skills, strengths, development opportunities, and potential career pathways.
• Facilitate goal setting and develop practical, measurable career action plans.
• Provide guidance on resume development, interview preparation, professional networking, personal branding, and LinkedIn optimization.
• Apply established coaching methodologies and frameworks, such as GROW, solution-focused coaching, strengths-based coaching, or other recognized approaches.
• Utilize appropriate career development tools, assessments, and reflective exercises to support client self-awareness and informed decision-making.
• Demonstrate experience with career interest inventories, skills assessments, values clarification
• exercises, and other relevant coaching instruments.
• Select and adapt coaching methodologies and tools based on individual client needs and desired outcomes.
• Integrate digital resources and coaching technologies to enhance client engagement and development.
• stablish professional, supportive, and confidential relationships with clients.
• Promote client accountability, self-reflection, confidence, and independent decision-making.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to recognized coaching ethics and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Psychology, Counselling, Career Development, Education, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated professional experience in career coaching, career development, employment counselling, or a related discipline.
• Training or certification in coaching through a recognized professional organization is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge of established coaching methodologies and career development theories.
• Experience administering, interpreting, or facilitating career assessments and professional development tools, within appropriate qualification requirements.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices, job search strategies, resume development, interview techniques, and professional networking.
• Experience delivering virtual coaching sessions and using digital collaboration platforms.
