Company Description Cardinal Capital Management is an independent, employee-owned Canadian investment firm based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The firm manages over $6.8 Billion in assets for individual and institutional investors across Canada. Role Description: As the firm continues to enhance its compliance program and regulatory oversight, the Controller has assumed increased responsibilities within the Compliance Department. As a result, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support a broad range of compliance, governance, and financial administration activities.

This role is ideal for an individual who is interested in developing expertise within a regulated investment management environment and is looking to build a career that combines professional judgment, regulatory knowledge, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the administration and maintenance of the firm's compliance program, policies, and procedures.
Support monitoring, testing, regulatory filings, and recordkeeping requirements.
Maintain documentation and assist with regulatory reviews, audits, and examinations.
Track and support various initiatives, projects, and ongoing regulatory obligations.
Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting-related activities as required.
Prepare reports, analyses, and documentation for management, auditors, and regulatory purposes.
Contribute to process improvements and the continued development of the firm's governance and control environment.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
CPA designation or progress toward a CPA designation is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional and highly regulated environment.

Job Type
