As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Thermal Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. Periodic field trips will be an expectation for this role.

Position Overview:

·        Experience with economic evaluation software, production forecasting tools, Power BI, Python, or similar analytical platforms is an asset.

·        Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent activities.

Key Responsibilities:

2.     Build and maintain economic models to support project evaluations and investment decisions.

3.     Support annual capital budgeting, expenditure tracking, and forecasting activities.

4.     Support regulatory planning, permitting, and stakeholder engagement activities associated with development projects.

5.     Originate and utilize data analysis and visualization tools to monitor production performance, identify trends and anomalies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

6.     Lead projects, such as delineation programs and water source testing, coordinating activities, managing budgets, and ensuring timely completion.

7.     Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Facility Engineering, Operations, and Environmental Health and Safety, to achieve project objectives and optimize asset performance.

8.     Travel periodically to field locations to provide technical support and collaborate with field personnel to optimize operational performance and address challenges as they arise.

If you are a motivated and results-oriented professional with a passion for thermal heavy oil production and the flexibility to travel periodically to field locations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Join us in shaping the future of sustainable energy production.
