We are looking for a positive and team-oriented individual to join our Dorval Distribution Centre as a Site Trainer. This position is based in a Cardinal Health distribution center but may be tasked with supporting training needs at other distribution centers.
As a Site Trainer, you will report to the site leader. In this role you will work with site leadership, the training coordinator and corporate L&D to provide and fulfill the training needs of the site, maintain accurate training records, and evaluate for escalation where improvement is necessary.
Your Contributions To The Organization Will Be
- Serves as primary training contact for employees at the business site for training requests, questions, and issues.
- Prepares for new hire classes including securing classroom space, materials, and communicating with the new hire about first day expectations.
- Utilizes most current existing materials and technology to deliver learning programs and activities.
- Identifies and immediately communicates program gaps, feedback, and other learning opportunities to peers and site leadership.
- Runs and analyzes reports to identify business/training needs and communicates training opportunities to peers and site leadership.
- Tracks new employee metrics at established intervals and communicates/coordinates with site leadership to ensure readiness standards are met.
- Drives support and adoption of new learning platforms and training technology.
- Acts as a subject matter expert to assist in the development and improvement of training materials.
- Assists in the development and ongoing training of associates at all levels, including onsite peers, offsite peers and site leadership.
- Monitors and evaluates peer trainer performance and provides feedback.
- Acts upon coaching and feedback from peers, site leadership team, and L&D team.
- Completes professional development requirements to expand skillset, including Train-the-Trainer sessions, certification courses, “teach backs,” and other opportunities.
- Remain up to date on operational processes, procedures and policies.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
- 4-6 years business experience preferred.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, AIMS (inventory management system), learning management systems.
- Open to working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
- Forklift licenses are an asset
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in **English and French. English language proficiency is essential to communicate, support, and provide services to individuals, employees, or partners who do not speak French, particularly when they are located outside the province of Quebec.

Nous recherchons une personne positive et dotée d'un esprit d'équipe pour rejoindre notre centre de distribution de Dorval en tant que formateur du site. Ce poste est basé dans un centre de distribution Cardinal Health, mais peut être amené à répondre aux besoins de formation d’autres centres de distribution.
En tant que formateur sur site, vous rendrez compte au responsable du site. À ce titre, vous travaillerez en collaboration avec la direction du site, le coordinateur de formation et le service Formation et Développement de l’entreprise afin de répondre aux besoins de formation du site, de tenir à jour des dossiers de formation précis et d’évaluer les cas nécessitant une intervention au niveau supérieur lorsque des améliorations s’imposent.
Votre Contribution à L’organisation
- Agir à titre de personne-ressource principale de la formation des employés de l’établissement pour toutes les demandes de formation, les questions et les problèmes liés à la formation.
- Préparer les séances de formation destinées aux nouveaux employés, notamment en réservant les salles de cours et le matériel nécessaire, et informer les nouveaux employés des attentes pour leur premier jour.
- Utiliser les supports et les technologies les plus récents pour proposer des programmes et des activités d’apprentissage.
- Cerner les lacunes du programme, la rétroaction et toute autre occasion d’apprentissage et les communiquer immédiatement aux pairs et à la direction de l’établissement.
- Produire et analyser des rapports afin de déterminer les besoins de l’entreprise et ceux en matière de formation, puis informer les pairs et la direction de l’établissement des occasions de formation.
- Assurer le suivi des indicateurs relatifs aux nouveaux employés à intervalles réguliers et assurer la communication et la coordination avec la direction de l’établissement afin de garantir le respect des normes de préparation.
- Favoriser la promotion et l’adoption de nouvelles plateformes d’apprentissage et de nouvelles technologies de formation.
- Intervenir en tant qu’expert en la matière pour contribuer à l’élaboration et à l’amélioration du matériel de formation.
- Contribuer au perfectionnement et à la formation continue des adjoints à tous les niveaux, y compris les collègues sur place, ceux hors site et la direction de l’établissement.
- Surveiller et évaluer le rendement des formateurs pairs et leur fournir de la rétroaction.
- Tenir compte de la rétroaction et de l’encadrement prodigués par ses pairs, l’équipe de direction de l’établissement et l’équipe de l’apprentissage et du perfectionnement.
- Répondre aux exigences en matière de perfectionnement professionnel afin d’élargir ses compétences, notamment par l’entremise de séances de formation des formateurs, de cours de certification, d’exercices de reformulation et d’autres occasions.
- Se tenir au courant des procédures, des politiques et des processus opérationnels.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche qui lui est confiée.

Exigences

- De 4 à 6 ans d’expérience professionnelle, de préférence
- Excellentes aptitudes en relations interpersonnelles et en communication
- Maîtrise de la suite logicielle Microsoft Office, du logiciel AIMS (système de gestion des stocks) et des systèmes de gestion de l’apprentissage
- Ouverture à travailler selon un horaire flexible, y compris le soir et la fin de semaine, au besoin
- Titulaire d’un permis de chariots élévateurs, un atout
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication (orale et écrite) en **anglais et en français. La maîtrise de l’anglais est indispensable pour communiquer, apporter un soutien et fournir des services à des particuliers, des employés ou des partenaires qui ne parlent pas français, en particulier lorsqu’ils se trouvent en dehors de la province de Québec.
