Responsibilities
Provide hands-on personal care to nursing home residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, positioning, and transporting patients. Monitor vital signs, collect specimens, respond to call signals, maintain patient rooms and supplies, and deliver messages and materials between departments.
Requirements
Requires a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a one- to two-year program, or equivalent experience, and two to less than three years of experience. A Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate, criminal record check, immunization records, tuberculosis test, and own transportation are specified.
