Job Type: Part Time
Shift available: Afternoon, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Compensation: $22.50/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

Provide housekeeping, organization, and sanitation in assigned office areas, lunchroom, and washrooms
Duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, brushing, beautifying, stacking, organizing, transporting/carrying bags, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, etc.
Areas will include, but are not limited to floors, walls, ceilings, equipment, windows, doors, etc.
Ability to gather instructions by working with plant operators and walking through all areas of the plant
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Be able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)?
Be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, or different shifts if required, with advanced notice

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience and/ or references in janitorial work
High School diploma or GED Equivalent
