Position Details:

Job Type: part-time, permanent

Vacancy: This posting is not for an existing vacancy (expanding headcount)

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, + $1 wage premium for nights

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Night Auditor, you’ll provide warm and attentive guest service while helping ensure a smooth hotel operation from evening through morning. You’ll oversee overnight activities, review daily records, respond to guest needs, and serve as an important point of contact for guests and team members after hours.

Your responsibilities will include:

Create a warm and welcoming experience for guests
Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally
Review daily records, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers
Audit in-house guest portfolios for accuracy and completeness
Prepare hotel financial records and reports in accordance with Carmen’s Group procedures
Roll front desk systems forward to the next business day
Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Promote rooms and other hotel services using effective selling techniques
Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate leadership during overnight shifts

The Hospitality You Bring to Every Stay

1-2 years of hotel experience, preferably as a Guest Services Agent or Night Auditor
Friendly, professional, and customer service focused
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Smart Serve certification required
Availability to work 11:00pm to 7:00am, including weekdays and weekends
Post-secondary education in hospitality management is considered an asset
Experience with hotel property management systems, particularly Opera Cloud, is considered an asset
