Reporting to: Market Leader

The Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales and margin growth by

identifying and recruiting new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires an inspiring people leader who is proactive and has strong HVAC sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Account Executive will be comfortable with up to 80% plus time in the field and have a proven track record of success in HVAC industry.

The Opportunity:

Sales/Margin and Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales and margin targets.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
Ability to present and manage Watsco Ventures and digital programs.
Maintain awareness of all HVAC contractors in defined territory and develop relationships with all key influencers/decision makers of each target contractor
Participate in HVAC and refrigeration seminars and local associations.
Convert new factory authorized dealers and close non-performing accounts.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to showcase our products/services.
Reinforce the FAD rules of engagement and regularly present scorecards and YTD sales results.

Sales Process Management:

Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Work closely with internal teams, assigned Account Manager(s), marketing, product development, order management, technical services and pricing, to ensure client satisfaction.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns.

Reporting and Analysis:

Monitor and analyze sales and margin performance in Salesforce and BI.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales strategies.
Reviews monthly team accounts with Account Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, advance degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Account Manager, or similar role.
Proven track record of bringing in new business.
Strong understanding of HVAC and construction market, along with the sales process in the construction segment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in HVAC industry.
Strong network in the HVAC industry and strong contacts with builders in new construction.

Le directeur de comptes devra pouvoir passer jusqu’à 80 % de son temps sur le terrain et avoir une expérience couronnée de succès dans le secteur CVC.

Le poste :

Croissance des ventes et des profits et expansion commerciale :

Repérer et exploiter de nouvelles occasions commerciales afin d’atteindre les objectifs de ventes et de profits.
Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans commerciaux stratégiques visant à élargir la clientèle.
Réaliser des études de marché afin de repérer des clients potentiels et de comprendre leurs besoins.
Être capable de présenter et de gérer Watsco Ventures ainsi que les programmes numériques.
Se tenir informé de l’ensemble des entrepreneurs en CVC dans un territoire donné et établir des relations avec tous les acteurs influents et décideurs clés de chaque entrepreneur ciblé.
Participer à des séminaires sur le chauffage, la ventilation, la climatisation et la réfrigération, ainsi qu’aux activités des associations locales.
Recruter de nouveaux concessionnaires autorisés par le fabricant et fermer les comptes non performants.

Gestion des relations avec la clientèle :

Établir et entretenir des relations solides avec les clients et servir de point de contact principal, en répondant rapidement et efficacement à leurs besoins et à leurs préoccupations.
Organiser régulièrement des réunions et des présentations afin de faire connaître nos produits et services.
Renforcer les règles d’intervention FAD et présenter régulièrement les tableaux de bord et les résultats de vente cumulés depuis le début de l’année.

Gestion du processus de vente :

Gérer l’ensemble du processus de vente, du signalement de ventes potentielles à la conclusion des contrats.
Préparer et fournir des présentations commerciales et des propositions convaincantes.

Collaboration et coordination :

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes internes, le ou les chargés de compte désignés, les services de marketing, de développement de produits, de gestion des commandes, d’assistance technique et de tarification, afin de garantir la satisfaction des clients.
Collaborer avec l’équipe du marketing pour concevoir du matériel et des campagnes de vente.

Compte rendu et analyse :

Suivre et analyser la performance en matière de ventes et de profits dans Salesforce et BI.
Rédiger régulièrement des rapports sur les activités de vente, l’état d’avancement de l’entonnoir de vente et les prévisions de revenus.
Fournir des informations et des recommandations fondées sur l’analyse des données afin d’améliorer les stratégies de vente.
Examiner les comptes mensuels de l’équipe avec le chargé de comptes.

Qualifications :

Baccalauréat en gestion, en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe ou diplôme d’études supérieures souhaité.
Expérience confirmée en tant que directeur des ventes, chargé de comptes ou à un poste similaire.
Expérience confirmée dans la prospection de nouveaux clients.
Solide connaissance du marché du chauffage, de la ventilation et de la climatisation (CVC) et du marché de la construction, ainsi que du processus de vente dans ce secteur.
Excellentes aptitudes en matière de communication, de négociation et de relations interpersonnelles.
Capacité à gérer simultanément plusieurs clients et projets.
Savoir utiliser les logiciels de gestion des relations avec la clientèle (CRM) et la suite Microsoft Office ; connaissance de Salesforce souhaitée.
