Warehouse Systems & Inventory Manager

Brantford, Ontario | Permanent | On-site

WMS | WCS | WES | SAP EWM | Warehouse Automation | Systems Integration

Are you experienced in warehouse systems, automation or systems integration? Would you like to lead a team working with some of the most advanced technology in modern manufacturing?

We are recruiting for a leading international business opening a brand-new, highly automated food manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario.

This major investment brings together Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), robotic palletising and depalletising, automated conveyors, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and integrated ERP technology.

We're looking for a Warehouse Systems & Inventory Manager to lead the team responsible for maintaining the accuracy, reliability and effective operation of inventory and warehouse systems across this sophisticated facility.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Leading and developing a team supporting inventory and warehouse systems across a 24/7 operation.
  • Overseeing the flow and accuracy of inventory information between WMS, WCS, ERP and operational systems.
  • Directing investigations into system discrepancies, failed transactions, inventory mismatches and operational issues.
  • Working alongside engineering, IT and automation specialists to troubleshoot problems and identify root causes.
  • Improving system reliability, inventory integrity and operational performance.
  • Helping establish procedures and best practices as this exciting new facility develops.

We're particularly interested in people with experience in one or more of the following:

  • WMS / WCS / WES: Warehouse management, control or execution systems.
  • ERP: SAP EWM, SAP WM or other integrated warehouse platforms.
  • Warehouse automation: ASRS, conveyors, robotics, automated distribution or material-handling systems.
  • Systems integration: Understanding how warehouse, inventory and automation systems communicate.
  • Technical troubleshooting: Investigating system issues, transaction failures and operational discrepancies.
  • Leadership: Managing or coordinating technical, warehouse systems, inventory or operational teams.

You might currently be a Warehouse Systems Manager, WMS Manager, Systems Integration Manager, Inventory Systems Manager, Automation Systems Lead or Warehouse Operations Manager.

You don't need experience in every area. We're interested in people who understand complex systems, enjoy solving problems and can lead a team effectively.

Why Is This Opportunity Different?

This isn't an established operation where you're simply maintaining existing processes.

You'll be joining a brand-new facility, working with advanced automation from the outset, helping shape how the systems function operates and contributing to its long-term development.

It's an opportunity to combine technology, problem-solving and people leadership within a major international business investing in its future.

If warehouse systems and automation are your area of expertise, we'd be keen to hear from you. Apply today for a confidential discussion.
