As a Container Recycling Sorter, you’ll be at the heart of operations: right on the floor where materials take shape. Your day-to-day:
- Safely sort, grade and place recycled materials according to department requirements and production standards.
- Help with housekeeping, equipment and yard cleaning, Schaeffer washing, snow removal and assisting truck drivers.
- Perform occasional groundskeeping, including light gardening once a month.
- Support the team and pitch in on various tasks as needed.
You are a natural fit for this role if you have:

- An interest in hands-on, team-based work.
- Resourcefulness, initiative and a positive, collaborative attitude.
- A willingness to learn; training is provided.
- The ability to work outside in seasonal hot and cold conditions.
- Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities
Safely sort, grade, and place recycled materials according to department requirements and production standards. Help maintain the facility and yard through cleaning, snow removal, occasional groundskeeping, and support for truck drivers and other team tasks.
Requirements
Candidates should be safety-conscious, collaborative, resourceful, and willing to learn; training is provided. They must be able to work outdoors in seasonal hot and cold conditions, stand throughout the shift, and work independently when needed.
