Overview
Our client is building a specialist Platform Engineering team responsible for creating the reusable
infrastructure, cloud services, and automation frameworks that will underpin future AI and Power
Platform adoption across the bank. This role sits at the heart of the programme and focuses on
platform engineering, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud architecture.
The successful individual will work on Terraform modules, custom providers, Azure infrastructure, and platform services that will be consumed by multiple engineering teams across the organisation.
It's a greenfield-style environment where you'll directly influence how AI and platform services
are adopted at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks.
- Develop and support custom Terraform providers.
- Engineer Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Deliver networking, identity, and shared platform services.
- Create self-service provisioning capabilities.
- Implement observability, resiliency, and platform governance controls.
- Support platform architecture and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with DevSecOps and Solution Development teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Terraform - module development, provider development.
- Azure infrastructure engineering.
- Infrastructure-as-Code expertise.
- C# or Go development experience. (Nice to Have)
