About the job

Castool Tooling Systems is a leading manufacturer of tooling and engineered solutions serving the aluminum extrusion, die casting, and industrial manufacturing industries worldwide. We are committed to delivering high-quality products through innovation, precision manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections while ensuring products meet drawing, customer, and quality requirements.

Responsibility

  • Inspecting Incoming Materials: Quality control inspectors often start by inspecting raw materials, components, or parts that are received from suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This may involve visual inspection, measurements, and testing.
  • Performing In-Process Inspections: Inspectors conduct inspections of work in progress to verify that products are being manufactured according to specifications. This may involve sampling products at different stages of production and performing visual inspections, measurements, and tests.
  • Conducting Final Inspections: Once products are completed, inspectors perform final inspections to ensure they meet all quality requirements. Final inspections may include comprehensive testing, dimensional checks, visual examination, performance testing and assembly of finished products.
  • Documenting Inspection Results: Inspectors are responsible for documenting inspection results, including any deviations from quality standards or non-conforming products. They may maintain inspection records, reports, and documentation to track quality performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Identifying and Addressing Non-Conformities: If defects or non-conformities are identified during inspections, inspectors work with production personnel to address the issues and implement corrective actions. This may involve rework, repair, or rejection of non-conforming products, as well as investigation into the root causes of quality issues.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Inspectors may participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, and productivity in manufacturing operations. This could involve suggesting process improvements, implementing new inspection techniques, or providing training to production personnel.
