CausalFunnel is an AI platform for growth optimization helping businesses identify and eliminate revenue leaks across their customer acquisition channels.

About the role

We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who combines engineering, business, marketing, ecommerce, analytics, and business development and can take ownership of measurable business outcomes. You will work directly with the CEO and founding team to identify growth opportunities, develop strategies, run experiments, and drive revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.

What you will do

1. Growth strategy

Develop and execute CausalFunnel's marketing and growth strategy across organic, paid, content, email, partnerships and other digital channels.
Identify new audience segments, channels and marketing opportunities to increase qualified traffic, leads and customers.
Develop compelling positioning, messaging, campaigns and content that resonate with target customers.
Build and optimize the marketing funnel from awareness → traffic → lead → demo/trial → customer.
Continuously test channels, messaging, offers and campaigns to improve reach, engagement, lead generation and conversion.
Analyze channel performance and marketing ROI to determine where to increase or reduce investment.

2. Revenue & Commercial Optimization

Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, profitability and unit economics.
Optimize marketing programs and processes for greater ROI.
Identify upsell, cross-sell and customer expansion opportunities.
Work with sales and marketing to improve lead quality, conversion and revenue.
Develop scalable and repeatable growth systems.

We want someone who understands how to turn marketing activity into profitable revenue.

3. D2C & Ecommerce Growth

Develop and execute strategies to grow D2C/ecommerce revenue and customer acquisition.
Optimize paid acquisition, SEO, CRO, email and retention.
Improve conversion rates, AOV and customer LTV.
Analyze acquisition economics and identify growth bottlenecks.
Run experiments designed to generate incremental revenue.

You should be able to demonstrate measurable ecommerce growth you personally contributed to.

4. Email & Lifecycle Management

Develop and optimize email acquisition, nurturing, retention and reactivation campaigns.
Build automated workflows including welcome, abandoned-cart, post-purchase and upsell campaigns.
Use segmentation, personalization and A/B testing to improve performance.
Experience with Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar platforms is expected.

We want someone who has generated measurable revenue through email, not simply managed an email platform.

5. SEO, CRO & Website Growth

Increase organic traffic and qualified leads through SEO and content strategies.
Analyze landing pages and conversion funnels and identify bottlenecks.
Execute A/B tests and improve website messaging, UX, CTAs and offers.
Use analytics and behavioral data to identify and eliminate revenue leaks.

6. Technical Marketing

Comfortable with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and Python or another programming language.
Experience with APIs, webhooks, GA4, Google Tag Manager and data analysis.
Experience with Shopify, WordPress, marketing automation and AI tools.
Able to code, understand how websites work and work effectively with engineers.

You don't need to be a full-time engineer, but you must be technically hands-on.

7. Experimentation & Analytics

Develop growth hypotheses and design A/B tests.
Analyze experiments, customer behavior and funnel performance.
Build dashboards and identify growth bottlenecks and revenue leaks.
Use data to determine what to scale, change or eliminate.

Required Qualification

4+ years in growth marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, ecommerce, business development or a related field.
Experience working in a digital marketing/growth environment.
Proven experience growing D2C/ecommerce brands and running successful email/lifecycle campaigns.
Demonstrated impact on revenue, profitability, customer acquisition economics or business performance.
Strong analytical, commercial and quantitative skills.
Excellent communication and execution skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership from strategy through execution.

Significantly scaled a D2C/ecommerce brand.
Improved revenue or profitability of a marketing-driven business.
Strong Shopify, WordPress, Klaviyo or HubSpot experience.
Google Ads, Meta Ads, technical SEO and CRO experience.
Experience building marketing automation, AI-powered workflows or internal tools.
Experience working at a digital marketing agency.
