  • Support project delivery from inception through engineering, construction, and contract administration, including coordination with internal disciplines, clients, and contractors;
  • Complete site inspections, construction reviews, and field documentation while exercising sound technical judgment; and
  • Prepare and review technical reports, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates, while providing guidance and technical support to junior staff where appropriate.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, or an equivalent certification, is preferred;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in civil, structural, marine, or related infrastructure projects;
  • Strong working ability with Civil 3D and AutoCAD, including above-average drawing production capabilities;
  • Working knowledge of Revit, InfraWorks, or GIS would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to complete quantity take-offs and support cost estimating activities;
  • Ability to work diligently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines;
  • Experience supporting data collection activities, including topographic surveys and infrastructure investigations, would be considered an asset;
  • Experience working in a consulting environment would be considered an asset; and
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.

We encourage applications from candidates whose experience and skills align with the core requirements of the role, even if they do not meet every qualification listed.

What we can offer you:

  • A competitive compensation package effective on your first day of employment:
    • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
    • CAAT Defined Benefit Pension Plan with employer contributions

In addition to the above benefits, we offer:

  • Flexible hours and locations to support work/life balance;
  • Ability to work paid overtime and bank time-in-lieu for future use;
  • Diverse team with a wide range of experience and expertise;
  • Exposure to a variety of projects;
  • Support to develop skills and pursue projects related to your own interests;
