About The Role
Join our Facilities Management team as a CBRE Facilities Consultant, where your expertise in project management and maintenance will make a real difference. In this role, you will be more than just a consultant; you will be a trusted advisor to Property Managers, helping them navigate repair programs and plan for future asset investments. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of projects, building a comprehensive skill set while ensuring our clients’ facilities remain safe, efficient, and valuable.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate soft services for all business units, large departments, or work groups. Establish specifications, solicit bids, negotiate, and participate in contract development.
- Review and approve vendor contracts and specify terms of agreements.
- Secure necessary operating supplies such as janitorial and maintenance.
- Oversee various services such as maintenance, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and paving.
- Point of contact for emergency situations and issues that occur during and outside of normal business hours.
- Confirm company and client records are managed according to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information.
- Management of large soft services contract on offshore oil platform.
- Creation of POs and invoice processing for all facilities managed work
- Coordinate Preventive/ Corrective maintenance compliance
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an asset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range being offered for this Facilities Consultant position is between $100,000 annually and $110,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
