About The Role

As a CBRE Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, building systems, equipment, and ground requests.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

WhatYou’ll Need

Building Environmental Studies, Operating Engineer certification, Engineering Technologist, provincial trade certification of qualification, or related diploma/degree/certification;
Valid Driver’s License required.
Willingness to work in shifts, provide coverage when required, work at various sites/locations, and be available on-call and during emergency situations.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

Ce poste relève du secteur des services techniques et d’ingénierie. Ce secteur d’activité a pour mission d’assurer le soutien, l’entretien préventif et les réparations des équipements et des systèmes.

Vos Responsabilités

Effectuer des travaux d’entretien préventif et de réparation courants sur les systèmes mécaniques ou électriques et autres systèmes, équipements ou installations dans les bâtiments.
Aider à l’installation et à la modification de l’équipement et des systèmes du bâtiment.
Passer en revue les bons de travail affectés et estimer le temps et les matériaux nécessaires à l’exécution des réparations. Gérer et suivre l’achèvement des travaux.
Assurer une bonne gestion énergétique en prenant des mesures afin que tous les systèmes fonctionnent le plus efficacement possible.
Inspecter les nouvelles installations et celles existantes pour s’assurer qu’elles sont conformes aux codes du bâtiment et aux règles de sécurité.
Utiliser ses compétences en communication pour transmettre des informations simples. Répondre aux demandes normales ou aux plaintes émanant de clients, de collègues et de superviseurs.

Nos Exigences

Études environnementales du bâtiment, certification d’ingénieur d’exploitation, diplôme ou titre d’ingénieur/technologue en génie, certificat de qualification professionnelle délivré par une province, ou diplôme, grade ou certification connexe;
