About the role

CCI is hiring a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Developer. You will join a digital onboarding project on a business-critical PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 system that runs HR, payroll, benefits, and absence management for roughly 68,000 employees. The project is digitizing paper-based processes such as onboarding, benefits enrolment, and life events; expanding employee and manager self-service; and moving Classic+ pages to the Fluid interface.

What you will do

  • Develop and enhance PeopleSoft HCM functionality across Absence Management, Time and Labor, Benefits, and Payroll
  • Deliver complex PeopleSoft solutions across the full development life cycle: design, build, test, and maintain
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports so business users can explore their own data
  • Develop Fluid UI pages, navigation, tiles, and Activity Guides with role-based security
  • Write technical specifications, run unit tests, and support system integration and user acceptance testing
  • MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

You must meet every requirement in this section. Applications that do not clearly show each one will not be considered.

    • PeopleSoft HCM modules development experience
    • PeopleSoft HCM knowledge and integration: PeopleSoft HCM operating systems, delivered application functionality, configurations, and packaged application integration, with focus on the Absence Management, Time and Labor, Benefits, and Payroll modules
    • Knowledge of PeopleSoft security and workflow, and tools such as PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and Data Mover
    • Knowledge of Oracle database management systems and application database administration
    • Experience delivering technical solutions within large-scale ERP systems (Oracle PeopleSoft), supporting business process automation
    • Technical expertise delivering advanced and complex digital solutions in all phases of the SDLC, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance in multi-platform environments
    • Experience developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that let clients explore data independently
    • Ability to work as part of an agile, self-directed, multi-disciplinary team of managers, senior solution designers, software developers, and IT professionals
    • Commitment to continuously learning emerging technologies, best practices, and toolsets

    Additional qualifications

    • In-depth experience with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and BI Publisher
    • Familiarity with Fluid UI development: navigation, tiles, dashboards, Activity Guides, and role-based security
    • Unit testing, and supporting system integration and user acceptance testing from a technical perspective
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    Nice to have

    • Linux scripting
    • Previous Ontario Public Service or public sector experience
