Job Description

CEDA is looking for a Training Administrator to join our Calgary team and keep one of the key pieces of our Training team running smoothly: the details. From entering employee training information to keeping records accurate and up to date, you’ll be the person making sure the right information is in the right place when it’s needed. If a well-organized system and a clean set of records sounds like your kind of thing, keep reading!

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with data and takes pride in getting the details right. There’s plenty of data entry, but it’s not about simply clicking through a screen; accuracy, consistency, and knowing when something doesn’t look right are what make the difference. You'll also work with internal customers to investigate and resolve discrepancies, helping ensure our training records are accurate, reliable, and running smoothly. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to work 3 days in office and 2 days from home

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date training records to support accurate training tracking and reporting
Enter, update and maintain employee training information within the Learning Management System, ensuring information and records are entered accurately and in a timely manner
Work with Operations and other internal teams as required to clarify training records, resolve discrepancies, and respond to record-related inquiries
Support new hire training administration, including orientation, HSE training, and other required training activities
Assist with training reports, record tracking, audits, and other administrative activities to support the training team
Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications:

Minimum 1 year of administrative, data entry or related experience
Experience working with databases, software systems or Learning Management Systems is considered an asset
Experience in training, learning and development, or a related environment is considered an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to navigate spreadsheets, filter data, and use basic search functions
Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours during peak periods, as required

There’s something satisfying about a clean spreadsheet, an organized record, and knowing the information is exactly where it needs to be

You like having a list to work through, but can switch gears when a priority request comes your way
