Original job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Marketing Project Coordinator to join our client’s Production Team on a 12-month contract. This role operates on a hybrid model, requiring the individual to work onsite 1 day per week in either Calgary or Edmonton.

Description

As a Marketing Project Coordinator, you will provide essential project coordination and workflow support across high-volume marketing deliverables. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Production Team, you will analyze incoming requests, structure actionable tasks in Jira, coordinate print production with external vendors, and support digital updates.

This is an exciting opportunity for a contractor with strong organizational skills, an understanding of marketing workflows, a proactive approach to asking questions, and a passion for supporting key partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Intake, Scoping, and Resourcing: Analyze requests and translate requirements into structured, documented Jira tasks and subtasks. Ensure every work item contains clear technical specifications, production asset links, work codes, and agreed-upon milestones prior to execution.
Schedule Tracking and Coordination: Monitor assigned tasks in Jira, identify scheduling risks or missing inputs early, and follow up proactively with cross-functional contributors.
Print Support: Serve as a key liaison with external print vendors to ensure the production of printed materials (postcards, signage, direct mail, etc.) is delivered on time.
Digital Updates: Review and execute digital requests - such as intranet updates and email deployments - with keen attention to detail and quality assurance.
Brand Advocacy: Support marketing asset development, ensuring all brand guidelines are adhered to and content is accurate and aligned with the strategic plan.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination or marketing workflow support.
Communication Skills: Clear and proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships quickly with stakeholders across all levels.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Jira and Google Workspace is a strong asset.
Marketing Knowledge: Prior experience supporting marketing deliverables, print production, or digital campaigns is an asset.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive mindset and strong focus on quality assurance.

Ready to make an impact? If you are a proactive and detail-oriented project coordinator looking to support a dynamic production team, submit your application today!
