Original job description

We are seeking a senior-level Graphic Designer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating high-impact sales enablement and marketing materials, working independently to guide stakeholders, translate business objectives into visually compelling assets, and drive engagement across both digital and print channels.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity requiring a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week onsite at our client's office in Mississauga (required onsite days on Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Description

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping sales enablement materials, marketing collateral, digital assets, and corporate presentation decks. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will serve as a strategic design partner across multiple internal teams - including Product Marketing, Events, and Digital. Rather than simply executing direction, you will help guide stakeholders, interpret raw data and marketing goals, and transform complex concepts into visually engaging communications. You will also work within evolving brand direction to ensure creative consistency across brochures, email designs, landing pages, social media graphics, and event collateral.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Digital, and Events) to design, format, and deliver high-quality print and digital collateral aligned with marketing objectives.
Work directly from creative briefs to translate copy, data, and complex business information into visually engaging presentations, sales decks, brochures, and campaign assets.
Design and format responsive marketing emails and landing pages (utilizing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Canva, and Figma) to support campaign performance and conversion goals.
Create and refine PowerPoint decks, executive presentations, templates, and event materials, using clear layout hierarchy, charts, and information design to improve visual clarity and message flow.
Prepare production-ready files with accurate bleed, trim, packaging, and colour separations, coordinating with external vendors and print partners on specifications and proofs.
Apply brand guidelines, templates, and accessibility principles (e.g., contrast, readability, inclusive design) across all touchpoints.
Maintain project files, digital asset libraries, and templates using consistent version control and organization.

Requirements Must-Have Skills and Qualifications:

3–5+ years of graphic design and production experience, with a focus on marketing, sales enablement, or corporate communications.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience demonstrated through a portfolio.
Senior-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Proven experience designing sales enablement collateral, brochures, presentation decks, and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Ability to work independently with limited direction, managing multiple concurrent design briefs and proactively guiding non-design stakeholders.
Solid understanding of print production standards (pre-press, colour management, proofs) as well as technical standards for digital assets across web, email, and social channels.
Practical understanding of basic web accessibility and inclusive design principles.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Canva and Figma.
Familiarity with email layout and platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Prior experience in the financial services or corporate enterprise sector.
Experience creating social media graphics, particularly for LinkedIn.
