Original job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Sr. Product Management Specialist to join our client’s team. In this role, you will manage a high-impact transportation and logistics product portfolio, drive global strategy adaptation, conduct deep-dive market and financial analyses, and partner cross-functionally to build and execute end-to-end product roadmaps.

This is a full-time opportunity requiring a hybrid work model, with 2 days per week in-office (Mondays and Fridays) in the GTA area.

Description

As a Sr. Product Management Specialist, you will act as a strategic internal consultant driving the end-to-end vision, evolution, and performance of our client's corporate services and shipping portfolios. You will evaluate global tech capabilities, identify market gaps, develop quantitative business cases, and define product roadmaps that solve key customer pain points. Working closely with global platform teams and regional cross-functional partners (Sales, Data Analytics, Operations, Finance, IT, and CX), you will translate complex data into actionable initiatives, evaluate service commitments, and lead product strategy to drive growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmapping: Manage and optimize the full lifecycle of physical and digital product/service portfolios; design, track, and execute 12-month product roadmaps aligned with key business priorities.
  • Data Analytics & Quantitative Insights: Leverage SQL, database tools, and reporting dashboards to perform market sizing, customer behavior analysis, competitive benchmarking, and financial modeling.
  • Business Case & Requirements Writing: Author robust business requirements documents and strategic business cases to validate new product concepts, pricing models, and service commitment upgrades/downgrades.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner across internal teams - including IT, Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, CX, and Engineering - to execute short- and long-term product roadmaps, align GTM strategies, and build adoption.
  • Global & Regional Alignment: Collaborate directly with global platform organizations to adapt corporate tools, emerging technologies, and product strategies specifically for the Canadian market.
  • Executive Presentation: Package insights, analytics, and strategic recommendations into clear, fact-based presentations for senior leadership to influence business decisions.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy development, industry analysis, and end-to-end product roadmapping.
  • Analytics & SQL: Strong proficiency in querying databases with SQL, leveraging data/reporting tools, and translating complex quantitative data into actionable business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Proven track record of leading initiatives across diverse functional areas (Operations, IT, Finance, Sales, Legal, and CX).
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation skills with an out-of-the-box, creative problem-solving mindset.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Courier, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience collaborating with global product, platform, or software development organizations (including US-based IT/Engineering teams).

Ready to make an impact? If you are a proactive, data-driven product leader looking for high visibility and an exciting challenge, we encourage you to apply today by submitting your resume!
