We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Senior Specialist, Digital Operations to join our client's media team. In this role, you will be key in managing end-to-end digital media channels, driving campaign trafficking excellence, and championing creative and analytical automation. The ideal candidate possesses an automation mindset, a strong understanding of programmatic ecosystems, and a passion for optimizing operational workflows.

This is a 12-month contract position requiring talent to work onsite 5 days a week at our client's office in Toronto.

Description

As a Senior Specialist, Digital Operations, you will lead the technical execution and operational workflows across programmatic digital media channels. Working closely with internal teams, finance partners, and trading desks, your day-to-day focus will center on campaign trafficking, creative intake, and platform operations within Campaign Manager 360 (CM360). Beyond daily execution, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency - identifying opportunities to automate processes, test new workflow programs, and elevate cross-channel reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day campaign trafficking across Programmatic campaign setups and DSPs, with a primary focus on CM360.
Oversee the intake of new creative assets, ensuring best practices are met, tags are correctly implemented, and tracking is configured for campaign success.
Collect, organize, and monitor campaign performance and third-party measurement data to provide actionable insights on delivery and inventory challenges.
Reconcile monthly programmatic invoices in close coordination with internal finance teams.
Support and lead automation projects, test new workflow programs, and maintain streamlined digital operations workflows across teams.
Collaborate directly with trading and media teams to support platform configurations, ad server troubleshooting, and billing reconciliation.
Educate cross-functional stakeholders on operational tools and best practices to enable advanced programmatic activations and reporting.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

3–4 years of relevant work experience in digital media operations, ad operations, or campaign trafficking.
Deep understanding of the Programmatic Ecosystem, specifically Ad Servers and Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), with hands-on proficiency in Campaign Manager 360 (CM360).
Proven experience managing day-to-day campaign trafficking, creative intake, tagging, and tracking setups.
Strong technical aptitude with basic working knowledge of JavaScript for troubleshooting and tracking configuration.
Automation mindset with a continuous-improvement approach to workflows and data collection.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, action-oriented work ethic.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related area of study or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with media buying and ad trafficking within a retail environment.
Relevant industry certifications across major media or ad tech platforms.
