Requirement - Senior Azure Platform Engineer:
- Overall Expectation
- The customer is looking for a Senior, hands-on Azure Platform Engineer with strong platform expertise across Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Terraform, GitHub Actions, networking, access management, and platform troubleshooting.
- The candidate should be capable of operating independently, troubleshooting complex platform issues, and guiding junior members within the customer squad, effectively bridging the technical gap between the customer's senior architect and junior engineers.
- Mandatory Technical Skills
Candidates should demonstrate strong hands-on experience in:

- GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD and automated deployments
- Azure Databricks (ADB), including clusters, workflows, deployments and platform troubleshooting

- Disaster Recovery, particularly scenarios involving Azure Databricks or other core platform services
- Troubleshooting Capability Expected
- The candidate should be able to explain how they would diagnose and resolve real platform issues, for example:
- Connectivity failures between Azure Storage Accounts and Azure Data Factory
- Identifying missing or failing network/security rules
- ADF pipeline failures, including unauthorized-access issues
- Azure Databricks cluster/workflow/platform issues
- Access and permission-related problems
- Recovery approach when Azure Databricks or other critical platform components become unavailable
- The expectation is not simply to identify an issue, but to explain the troubleshooting approach, identify the root cause, and describe how the issue was resolved.
- Role Boundaries - What the Customer Is NOT Looking For
- This is not a traditional Infrastructure Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) position.
