Centurion Canada Ltd. is an integrated rental and services supplier for drilling, completions, facilities, pipelines, forestry, construction, and government sectors across Western Canada. Our equipment and services include cranes, track hoe packages, wastewater and water management, power and lighting, combination units, remote security and communications, work camps/wellsite accommodations, and heavy equipment. We deliver industry leading customer service that is backed by a strong safety culture and exceptional staff.

We are looking for a Field Sales Representative based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, to strengthen our presence with existing customers, develop new business opportunities, and connect customers with the right Centurion solutions.

The Field Sales Representative will spend the majority of their time in the field developing relationships with customers, identifying upcoming work, and supporting business growth across Centurion Canada's service offerings.

This position is well suited to someone who understands the Grande Prairie and Peace Region industrial market, enjoys being in front of customers, and can build strong relationships with field personnel, operations teams, and decision-makers.

Working closely with Centurion's operational and business development teams, the successful candidate will act as a key connection between our customers and our internal teams.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers throughout Grande Prairie and the surrounding region.
Maintain a consistent field presence by visiting customer offices, shops, yards, field locations, and project sites.
Identify upcoming projects, customer requirements, and new business opportunities.
Promote Centurion Canada's services and capabilities across applicable business lines.
Generate new leads and develop opportunities with prospective customers.
Work closely with Operations and Business Development teams to develop practical solutions that meet customer requirements.
Support the preparation and follow-up of quotations, proposals, and customer opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process and assist in resolving service-related concerns when required.
Gather market intelligence relating to upcoming projects, competitor activity, customer needs, and industry trends.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activity.
Attend customer meetings, industry events, networking functions, and other business development activities.
Support the continued growth of Centurion Canada's presence throughout the Grande Prairie and Peace Region.
Represent Centurion professionally and demonstrate our values in all customer and community interactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in field sales, business development, operations, or customer relationship management within the oil & gas, construction, industrial services, or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of the Grande Prairie and broader Peace Region industrial market is considered a significant asset.
Existing industry relationships and customer connections are considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credible, long-term customer relationships.
Comfortable communicating with field personnel, operational leaders, procurement representatives, and senior decision-makers.
Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
Ability to understand customer operational requirements and connect those needs with appropriate services and solutions.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with an acceptable driving record.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Grande Prairie and surrounding operating areas.
