Role Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Community Relations, and working closely with the Bria Communities General Managers at Sunridge Gardens and Magnolia Gardens, the Community Relations & Residency Coordinator will be responsible for marketing both residences to Langley and surrounding communities through a variety of promotional and professional activities, focusing on the amenities and lifestyle opportunities we have to offer our potential residents.

You have the drive and motivation to show potential prospects and other stakeholders everything there is to love about Bria Communities so they can visualize a smooth transition into their new home and can enjoy lives enriched with purpose, friendship and happiness.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of occupancy; actively participating in community events; managing inquiries; arranging and completing tours; managing and engaging those on the reserve list; developing and maintaining positive relationships with community partners; and representing yourself as an ambassador of Magnolia Gardens and Sunridge Gardens throughout the community.

Key Accountabilities

Responds to all inquiries, conducts tours, manages the move-in and move-out processes, tracks quality indicators and ensures prompt communication with the management team
Connects with potential prospects while maintaining and updating Yardi Senior CRM. Keeping leads hot, building and monitoring the prospect pipeline will be imperative.
Works with the Bria Marketing Manager, the Bria General Managers, and the Bria Marketing Team to develop and implement marketing and sales plans that generate new leads. Researches, plans, and coordinates on-site and off-site marketing events and partnerships to attract prospects and build relationships
Nurtures and expands Bria’s key partnerships by being a brand ambassador, supporting employees, volunteers and participants, and pitching new initiatives for current and future partners to the Bria Marketing team.
Participates as an active member of the Bria Marketing Team and engages the management teams at both residences in supporting the Mission, Vision, Values and strategic objectives of Bria Communities
Demonstrates professionalism, industry and in-house knowledge, empathy and compassion with prospects and their families, residents, employees and all persons visiting the residence
Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Bria Marketing Manager and/or General Manager.

Education & Experience

Graduate of a post-secondary marketing/hospitality / community or related programs; or equivalent combination of experience, education and knowledge;
Knowledge of and experience in the seniors’ market, public health sector and private health sector or hospitality industry are preferred.
Experience in event planning, sales and marketing,, public speaking, and public and community relations are preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills with proven relationship-building skills
Superior oral, written and listening communication skills
Demonstrated ability to organize workload, multitask and set priorities accordingly
Strong computer skills, including experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.) and experience with Yardi Senior CRM or other CRM platforms.
An independent, capable individual who excels in a team environment and who is motivated and resourceful, always performing in a highly professional manner
Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends may be required).
Demonstrates initiative and problem-solving skills.
Positive self-projection, excellent human relations with residents, families and other team members. A people-person with a heart for seniors and a friendly, outgoing manner.
Personable and easily able to build relationships with clients, families, colleagues, business partners & members of the general public.
