CFT Canada | Dorval, QC | Full-time, in-office | Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
Are you the person who keeps many moving pieces organized and never lets a detail slip? Join a small, growing team where your work has a direct, visible impact.
ABOUT CFT CANADA
Since 1985, CFT Canada has helped organizations handle dangerous goods safely and in compliance. We are a bilingual training and compliance company in Dorval. Our instructors deliver road, air and maritime dangerous goods training in person, by webinar and online.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
As the first person clients reach when they need training, you make booking with CFT simple and reliable. You guide each booking from first inquiry to invoice, working closely with clients and instructors so workers across Canada get the training they need, on time and without friction.
About 90% of the role is organization, coordination and bilingual customer service. The remaining 10% may include general office administration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for clients, mostly by email and also by phone, and connect them with our dangerous goods specialists when expert input is needed
- Help clients identify the right training, with instructor support, based on mode of transport, initial or refresher, dangerous goods classes, delivery format, group size and language
- Prepare quotes and gather everything needed to book a course (PO number, learner list, training address, invoicing contact)
- Schedule courses by matching client needs with instructor availability
- Set up courses in our booking automation tool, which notifies instructors and invites learners
- Manage course administration: registration records, invoices, course materials, and filing exams and attendance
- Support reception and general office administration
- Suggest ways to make our booking and admin processes smoother
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Every booking moves smoothly from first inquiry to invoice, with nothing lost along the way
- Courses are scheduled on dates that work for clients and instructors, with complete, accurate records
- Clients feel looked after, in French or in English, from their very first contact
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Fluent in French and English, spoken and written
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many bookings at once
- Clear, friendly communicator who enjoys helping clients
- Comfortable with Microsoft 365, especially Outlook and Excel
- Assets: experience in client service, administration or coordination; QuickBooks Online; knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (not required, we train you)
WHAT WE OFFER
- $47,000 to $52,000 base salary
- Performance bonus of $3,000, and up to $5,000 for exceptional performance, based on:
- Invoice timeliness and accuracy
- Customer responsiveness and scheduling
- Customer training records and compliance administration
- Accurate course selection
- Group benefits plan after 3 months
- A small, growing team where your work has a direct, visible impact
- Room to grow as CFT continues to modernize its training operations
