At CGI – Payroll Services Centre (PSC), we support more than 70,000 Canadian businesses with our payroll and human resources solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented individual to join our sales team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to advise clients, understand their needs, and recommend solutions tailored to their business reality. You will contribute to both the growth of our existing client base and the acquisition of new customers.

Whether you have experience in sales, customer service, or simply possess strong business acumen, we would like to meet you!

Why Join CGI?

Stable daytime schedule, Monday to Friday, supporting work-life balance.
A collaborative and stimulating work environment.
Opportunities to learn, develop your sales skills, and advance your career.
Flexible group insurance plan, telemedicine services, and wellness programs.
Employee share purchase plan and profit-sharing program.
The opportunity to contribute to the success of thousands of Canadian businesses.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Develop and maintain trusted relationships with existing clients.
Identify new sales opportunities and recommend complementary products and services.
Contribute to new client acquisition through referrals and business opportunities.
Understand business needs and recommend the most suitable payroll and HR solutions.
Present our solutions through phone conversations, virtual meetings, and online demonstrations.
Answer client questions, address objections, and guide prospects through the sales process to close deals.
Conduct follow-ups to convert business opportunities into sales.
Track and manage sales activities using CRM and business management tools.
Collaborate with product specialists and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Occasionally participate in promotional activities and client meetings.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Experience in sales, customer service, or a role involving business development and customer engagement.
Strong interest in sales, client relationship development, and achieving targets.
Excellent communication, listening, and persuasion skills.
Ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Proactive attitude, autonomy, and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable using technology, software applications, and digital tools.
Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
Ability to travel occasionally to client locations and access to a vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in telephone sales, call centers, or service sales.
Knowledge of payroll or human resources.
Experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales.
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.

We also value individuals who are curious, open to new technologies, and interested in leveraging artificial intelligence in their work.

Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging. Here, you’ll reach your full potential because…

You are invited to be an owner from day 1 as we work together to bring our Dream to life. That’s why we call ourselves CGI Partners rather than employees. We benefit from our collective success and actively shape our company’s strategy and direction.

Your work creates value. You’ll develop innovative solutions and build relationships with teammates and clients while accessing global capabilities to scale your ideas, embrace new opportunities, and benefit from expansive industry and technology expertise.

You’ll shape your career by joining a company built to grow and last. You’ll be supported by leaders who care about your health and well-being and provide you with opportunities to deepen your skills and broaden your horizons.
