Développeur(se) Full Stack Java Spring Boot - React

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes project management, development, quality assurance and support professionals. You’ll contribute throughout the application lifecycle, from design to ongoing enhancements, while collaborating with international delivery teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Your role

You’ll develop end-to-end features, from Java back-end services to React user interfaces. You’ll also contribute to architecture decisions, test automation and the continuous improvement of development practices.

Your responsibilities in our team

• Design and develop back-end services using Java and Spring Boot, including Spring Data JPA and Spring Security.
• Build and enhance user interfaces with React.
• Design and maintain high-performing, secure and well-documented REST APIs.
• Apply hexagonal architecture principles to build maintainable, loosely coupled components.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests with JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber, using TDD and BDD practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployments with Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Support code quality through Sonar and Software Craftsmanship practices.
• Participate in code reviews and help less experienced team members grow.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with international teams and help coordinate delivery effectively.
  
  

Your Qualifications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Graduate degree in computer science, or equivalent education at the master’s level.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong command of Java, Spring Boot and React.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security and Hibernate.
• Experience designing REST APIs and applying hexagonal architecture.
• Regular use of automated testing, TDD and BDD.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Ability to write high-quality code, contribute to code reviews and document technical solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with international teams.
  
  

Assets

• Experience in corporate and investment banking (CIB), particularly in capital markets or securitization.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, data modelling or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira and Sonar.
• Knowledge of C# or a platform such as Orchestrade, X One or Calypso.
• An interest in the banking sector and its business and technology challenges.

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The determination of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are based on the specific circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $70,000 to $135,000. This position is currently open.
