Position Description
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week subject to change at any time.
CGI is seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead with strong expertise in Guidewire Cloud, configuration, and integrations to join our team in Toronto.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership across the design and delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. You will collaborate with architecture, development, business, and delivery teams to design scalable solutions, guide technical implementation, and support integrations across the Guidewire ecosystem.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
- Design and support Guidewire Cloud solutions and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Define integration approaches using REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, QA professionals, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide guidance on PolicyCenter configuration and integration design.
- Review technical designs and support resolution of complex integration and configuration issues.
- Support development, testing, implementation, and production-readiness activities.
- Contribute to technical standards, solution documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical guidance to delivery teams while supporting consistent implementation practices.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- 8+ years of Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.
- Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter Configuration and/or Integration.
- Strong expertise with Guidewire Cloud and Guidewire integrations.
- Demonstrated experience with solution design and technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience designing or implementing microservices-based integrations.
Assets
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway and/or App Events.
- Strong knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75 to $100 per hour. This role is an existing vacancy."
