QA/Test Lead – Blue Yonder WMS

Position Description

CGI is seeking an experienced QA/Test Lead to lead testing activities for Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System implementations and other complex enterprise technology deployments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in test strategy, requirements traceability, defect management, test execution governance, and large scale business readiness.

This role will work closely with project managers, solution architects, technical leads, implementation partners, business stakeholders, and client IT teams to ensure that solutions are thoroughly tested and ready for deployment. Experience coordinating system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution across large, distributed teams will be highly valued.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies, plans, schedules, and governance frameworks for Blue Yonder WMS implementations
• Lead the planning and execution of functional, integration, regression, system integration, user acceptance, and deployment validation testing
• Establish requirements traceability from business and technical requirements through test cases, execution results, and defect closure
• Coordinate SIT and UAT activities across business teams, technical teams, implementation partners, and client stakeholders
• Define test scenarios, test cases, entry and exit criteria, testing milestones, and quality gates
• Manage defect reporting, prioritization, triage, root cause analysis, resolution, retesting, and closure
• Provide regular reporting on test progress, risks, defects, dependencies, and overall solution readiness
• Configure and maintain testing activities using JIRA and test management tools
• Facilitate test planning sessions, defect triage meetings, status reviews, and go live readiness assessments
• Support continuous improvement of CGI's QA methodologies, testing standards, templates, and delivery practices

• Proven experience leading QA and testing efforts for Blue Yonder WMS implementations or complex enterprise system deployments
• Strong knowledge of test strategy development, test planning, execution governance, and quality assurance methodologies
• Experience managing large scale system integration testing and user acceptance testing programs
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability, test coverage, test case design, and quality gates
• Demonstrated experience managing defects through identification, prioritization, resolution, retesting, and closure
• Experience with JIRA and test management tools
• Ability to coordinate testing across business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, implementation partners, and geographically distributed teams
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, data validation, business process testing, and end to end solution readiness
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting go live decisions, cutover planning, deployment readiness, and post implementation validation
  
  

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 to $130,000.
