Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support future ERP transformation and implementation opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements, analyze processes, and support the successful delivery of enterprise solutions.
This opportunity is suited to a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience working on complex ERP implementation or transformation initiatives. Experience working within public sector or government environments is preferred.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities throughout ERP implementation and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, processes, and requirements.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Document and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze current-state business processes and contribute to the definition of future-state processes.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and specifications for technical and functional teams.
- Work collaboratively with business, technical, project management, and ERP implementation teams to support solution delivery.
- Support testing and validation activities, including user acceptance testing, requirements traceability, and issue resolution.
- Identify requirements gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts and communicate them to appropriate stakeholders.
- Support business readiness and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- 8+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis, including experience working in senior-level Business Analyst capacities.
- Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementation, transformation, or modernization initiatives.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing complex business and functional requirements.
- Experience facilitating workshops and requirements sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, process mapping, and current-state and future-state analysis.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams throughout the systems development or implementation lifecycle.
- Experience supporting testing activities, including user acceptance testing and requirements validation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

- Experience contributing to large-scale business transformation or enterprise modernization initiatives.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000 –$130,000. This role is a future opportunity.
