Build highly available cloud-native applications using AWS services including Lambda, ECS, SQS, RDS, API Gateway, and related services.
Design, deploy, and support production applications while participating in production troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Own features throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices.
Build and maintain Docker images and containerized applications deployed through AWS ECS and/or Kubernetes.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and cross-functional teams within Agile delivery teams.
Participate in sprint planning, estimations, code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

6+ years of hands-on Node.js backend development.
Strong experience building and supporting production-grade applications.
Strong experience developing full-stack applications using Node.js and React.
Extensive experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging patterns.
Hands-on experience with Kafka in production environments.
Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, ECS, SQS, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM.
Experience deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting applications in production.
Strong experience using Redis for caching and application performance optimization.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tooling.
