We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale Finance Modernization initiative. This role will be responsible for strategically planning, coordinating, and managing the successful delivery of complex technology projects and workstreams.
The successful candidate will support the implementation of a Finance Data Platform and new ERP solutions, including SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) and SAP S/4HANA General Ledger.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong project delivery, financial management, integrated scheduling, Agile execution, and stakeholder management capabilities. You will work closely with Finance, Technology, business partners, senior leadership, and third-party vendors to ensure program objectives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to high quality standards
Your future duties and responsibilities
Lead the planning, delivery, and implementation of complex technology initiatives aligned with enterprise strategic objectives.
Manage multiple project workstreams, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
Partner with business, Finance/CFO, Technology, service partners, and external third-party vendors.
Develop and maintain large, integrated project/program schedules using MS Project, ensuring dependencies, milestones, and critical activities are clearly identified and managed.
Identify schedule variances and work with project teams to develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.
Manage project financials, including budget tracking, funding, resource forecasting, vendor contracts/invoices, and financial reporting.
Support the translation of strategic program objectives into clear scope, implementation plans, deliverables, and execution activities.
Manage sprint execution, backlog grooming, and Agile delivery practices where applicable.
Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, actions, and dependencies (RAID), ensuring owners and mitigation plans are established and actions are driven through closure.
Prepare weekly and monthly project/program reporting for Senior Management and Executive stakeholders.
Develop detailed project and implementation plans in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
Provide clear communication across technical and business teams and create structure and direction in complex or ambiguous environments.
Build and maintain strong relationships across Finance, Technology, business teams, and external partners.
Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
Strong experience managing large and complex technology projects/programs, preferably within banking or financial services.
Demonstrated experience working in environments with multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and frequent delivery requests.
Strong hands-on experience with project planning, integrated scheduling, dependency management, and project governance.
Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, resource plans, funding, and vendor financials.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Experience with Agile delivery practices, including sprint execution, backlog management, and facilitation.
Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.
Proven ability to operate successfully within a large, complex, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience within banking, financial services, or a large publicly traded financial institution.
Experience delivering Finance Transformation, ERP, Finance Data Platform, or General Ledger modernization initiatives.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), or similar enterprise finance platforms.
Experience working with senior Finance/CFO and Technology stakeholders.
Experience managing large-scale transformation programs involving multiple internal teams and external vendors.

Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy."
