Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable Python code following development best practices.
Perform testing, debugging, and validation of migrated applications and workflows.
Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and post-migration improvements.
Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to identify dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for migration activities and implemented solutions.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

8–10 years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Python.
Advanced hands-on Python development experience, including developing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise applications or data processing solutions.
Strong hands-on experience working with Anaconda and Python development environments.
Working knowledge of SAS (Statistical Analysis System), including the ability to understand existing SAS workflows and business logic.
Experience analyzing existing applications and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
Experience participating in software development, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.

Assets

The following qualifications would be considered assets:

Previous experience migrating SAS applications or workflows to Python.
