Solution Architect - Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

We are seeking a senior client-facing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect to lead business and technology transformation initiatives for retail and wholesale organizations.

This role requires a strategic advisor who can engage confidently with business and technology leaders, understand complex operational challenges, and translate business objectives into scalable D365 F&O solutions. The successful candidate will combine deep D365 expertise with strong business knowledge across retail, wholesale distribution, supply chain, inventory, procurement, finance, and commerce operations.

The Solution Architect will play a key role in client engagements, solution shaping, architecture design, transformation roadmaps, proposal support, and delivery governance.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Lead D365 F&O solution architecture discussions, workshops, and strategic advisory sessions with clients.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable solution designs, implementation strategies, and transformation roadmaps.
• Advise clients on leading practices across retail and wholesale operations, including finance, procurement, inventory, order management, and supply chain processes.
• Conduct architecture assessments, solution design reviews, effort estimation, and implementation planning.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including CIOs, business leaders, and technology teams.
• Support business development activities, including pursuits, proposals, presentations, and solution shaping.
• Provide architecture leadership and governance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify opportunities to extend business value through integrations, data and analytics, AI/Copilot, Power Platform, and managed services.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Extensive experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect delivering enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of retail and wholesale business processes, operating models, and industry challenges.
• Proven ability to lead business-focused discussions and align technology solutions with strategic business objectives.
• Exceptional client-facing, stakeholder management, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience developing transformation roadmaps, target-state architectures, and implementation strategies.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications and broader Microsoft ecosystem knowledge are considered an asset.
  
  

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115000–$165,000. This role is a existing vacancy.
