CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and consolidate project plans to ensure the optimal utilization of financial and material resources.
- Support Project Managers in various project management activities and in the use of project management standards, tools, and templates.
- Monitor project schedules, effort, budgets, and deliverables, and report on progress against the baseline plan and delivery requirements.
- Actively participate with project stakeholders in project status meetings and monthly project reviews.
- Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, and committee reports, and follow up with responsible stakeholders on action items.
- Recommend appropriate solutions or corrective actions to the Project Manager based on project analyses and identified variances.
- Implement management tools and processes, maintain project management documentation and registers, and produce monthly project financial reports.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in progress in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with project management principles and Agile methodologies.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), and Microsoft Project (an advantage but not required).
- Strong teamwork skills, initiative, accountability, attention to detail, commitment to quality and deadlines, analytical and conceptual thinking abilities, flexibility, and adaptability to change.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients.
