Original job description

Contribute to our clients' success while developing your information technology skills in a stimulating and collaborative environment!

CGI Saguenay is looking for a finance or accounting intern who is interested in exploring the field of information technology and developing expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution used by organizations to manage their business operations, including financial processes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your financial knowledge while learning to use and understand the technology solutions that support our clients' business processes. With guidance from our team, you will gradually become involved in analyzing requests, resolving functional issues, and improving financial processes.

If you are passionate about finance, curious about technology, and motivated to develop new skills, this internship is an excellent opportunity to combine these two fields and begin a career in business analysis within the IT sector.

Perks of being a CGI Co-op:

The co-op program was designed to help students improve their skills and explore their professional interests through hands-on experience and professional guidance, while also helping them develop core competencies. As an intern, you have access to:

Professional development sessions
Professional development platform
Networking events with colleagues and leaders
Mentorship from leaders and colleagues aimed at setting and achieving your career goals

Start Date: January 2027

Application Deadline: November 15th, 2026

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.

Contribute to documenting business processes, analyses, and proposed solutions.
Participate in testing and functional validation of application fixes.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to better understand the relationship between business needs and IT solutions.
Help identify opportunities to improve processes and support practices.
Gradually develop independence and skills in business analysis and Application Management Services (AMS).

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Currently pursuing studies in finance, accounting, business administration (finance concentration), or a related field.
