Role Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical lead on our most strategic and complex customer engagements. You will architect scalable search solutions, drive implementation of Generative AI capabilities, and act as a technical mentor to other engineers. This role requires deep enterprise search expertise and the ability to operate cross-functionally with customers, engineering, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Leadership:

Serve as the technical lead across high-impact enterprise search deployments.
Architect secure, scalable solutions that include custom data pipelines and GenAI assistants.
Define integration strategy across multiple enterprise systems and business units.
Lead enterprise-level workshops and technical roadmap planning.

Advanced Technical Implementation:

Customize and extend the Sinequa platform using modern web and backend technologies.
Build connectors, REST API interfaces, and workflow automation to enhance platform extensibility.
Optimize ingestion pipelines, relevance scoring, and contextual search experiences.
Configure vector-based retrieval, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering frameworks.

Client Strategy and Engagement:

Guide customers through long-term success plans and advanced use case discovery.
Present at executive and technical stakeholder meetings with clear business impact narratives.
Conduct advanced-level training, enablement, and architectural reviews.

Collaboration and Leadership:

Act as a mentor to other engineers; provide technical guidance and code reviews.
Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and engineering to shape future platform enhancements.
Contribute reusable code modules and documentation for internal and customer use.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
Experience implementing enterprise search platforms.
8+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or a customer-facing engineering role.
Strong programming background (Python, Java, C#, etc.).
Advanced frontend development expertise with Angular, TypeScript, or React.
Deep experience with REST APIs, identity management, and enterprise-grade security.
Proven ability to lead multi-phase deployments and cross-functional customer teams.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud infrastructure tools.
Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with executive stakeholders.

Bonus Points

Experience in AI-powered search (LLM, RAG, embedding generation, relevance tuning).
Knowledge of knowledge graph or ontology-driven search systems.
Hands-on work with containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker).
Familiarity with enterprise compliance and data governance in regulated environments.

Présentation du poste

Responsabilités principales

Leadership en architecture

Agir à titre de responsable technique pour des déploiements de solutions de recherche d’entreprise à fort impact.
Concevoir des solutions sécurisées et évolutives intégrant des pipelines de données personnalisés et des assistants d’IA générative.
Définir la stratégie d’intégration entre plusieurs systèmes d’entreprise et unités d’affaires.
Diriger des ateliers à l’échelle de l’entreprise ainsi que la planification de feuilles de route techniques.

Implémentation technique avancée

Personnaliser et étendre la plateforme Sinequa à l’aide de technologies web et backend modernes.
Développer des connecteurs, des interfaces API REST et des automatisations de flux de travail afin d’accroître l’extensibilité de la plateforme.
Optimiser les pipelines d’ingestion de données, le classement par pertinence et les expériences de recherche contextuelle.
Configurer des systèmes de recherche vectorielle, des workflows RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) et des cadres d’ingénierie de prompts.

Stratégie et accompagnement client

Accompagner les clients dans l’élaboration de plans de réussite à long terme et l’identification de cas d’usage avancés.
Présenter aux parties prenantes techniques et aux membres de la direction en communiquant clairement les impacts et la valeur pour l’entreprise.
Offrir des formations avancées, des activités d’accompagnement et des revues d’architecture.

Collaboration et leadership

Agir comme mentor auprès des autres ingénieurs, fournir des conseils techniques et effectuer des revues de code.
Collaborer avec les équipes avant-vente, produit et ingénierie afin de contribuer à l’évolution future de la plateforme.
Développer des modules de code réutilisables et de la documentation destinés à un usage interne ainsi qu’aux clients.

Compétences et qualifications recherchées

Baccalauréat ou maîtrise dans une discipline technique (informatique, génie, ou domaine connexe).
Expérience dans l’implémentation de plateformes de recherche d’entreprise (enterprise search).
Plus de 8 ans d’expérience en consultation technique, services professionnels ou dans un rôle d’ingénierie en contact direct avec les clients.
Solides compétences en programmation (Python, Java, C#, etc.).
Expertise avancée en développement frontend avec Angular, TypeScript ou React.
Expérience approfondie avec les API REST, la gestion des identités et les mécanismes de sécurité de niveau entreprise.
