About This Opportunity:

As Email Program Manager, you will lead and evolve CPA Ontario's email and SMS/MMS programs, driving strategy, innovation and audience engagement across these channels. You will advance our use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, identify opportunities for optimization, and apply AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and personalization. Working with digital agencies, cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, you will oversee campaign operations, support channel governance and best practices, and serve as the organization's subject matter expert for email and SMS/MMS marketing. Reporting to the Digital Email and Product Manager with support from the Vice President, Digital Enablement, this role sits on the Digital Enablement team and works closely with the broader Marketing and Digital teams to advance channel capability, improve performance and deliver exceptional audience experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Act as the lead resource for email execution, including email calendar management, creative briefings, email development, reviews and deployment, supporting the existing Email Specialist.
Manage and enhance Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, including audience segmentation, dynamic content, automation, customer journeys, personalization and channel innovation, to improve audience engagement and operational efficiency.
Act as the subject matter expert for SMS/MMS marketing, providing strategic guidance, best practices, governance and recommendations to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Analyze email analytics and generate performance reports for cross-functional business units and the digital team to increase open and engagement rates.
Assist with the review and optimization of the current email marketing process and increase the use of email best practices across the organization.

To Be Successful You Need:

A university or college degree, with work experience carrying more weight than credentials in this role.
Three to five years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email deployments and backend optimization.
Experience with audience segmentation, dynamic content, automation, customer journeys and personalization, along with an interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
The ability to interpret email analytics and turn performance data into reporting and recommendations that cross-functional teams can act on, and the communication skills to serve as the channel expert with agencies and stakeholders.
Proficiency with email insight tools such as Litmus, working knowledge of SMS and MMS, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are considered assets.

Salary Range

The starting annual salary range for this position is between $82,900 - $103,700 per annum, based on your qualifications, experience, and internal parity. Exceptions may be considered with further review.
