Are you passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and creating memorable moments for seniors? As a Dining Room Supervisor at Chartwell, you’ll lead a dynamic team to ensure our residents and guests enjoy warm, welcoming, and outstanding meal services.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and maintain exceptional dining experiences aligned with Chartwell’s Brand Hospitality Standards
- Hire, train, schedule, and inspire dining staff to deliver excellent service
- Ensure safe food handling, regulatory compliance, and company quality standards
- Collaborate with Food Services and kitchen teams to meet dietary needs and preferences
- Address resident and family concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction
- Support special events and manage dining operations within budget as part of the leadership team
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum two years' experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality, retirement, or healthcare sectors
- Completion of secondary school education or equivalent; current First Aid and CPR certificates required
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well-organized with a focus on delivering quality experiences
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid provincial alcohol service and food safety certifications (or equivalent) required

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and respond to emergency situations
- Comfort using AI and other digital platform systems and tools to support daily work
- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
