Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate Educational Assistant to provide individualized support to two (2) students in their home-based learning environments.
Rate per hour: $23 to $29

College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.

- Educational Assistant Certificate/Behaviour Intervention training is an asset but not required
- Experience supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools and strategies, as well as emotional regulation supports, is an asset but not required.
- Experience using TouchChat is considered an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a home-based learning environment.
- Ability to reliably travel to and work at the student’s home-based learning location.

Responsibilities
Provide individualized educational support to two students in their home-based learning environments. Work independently and collaboratively to support their learning and related needs.
Requirements
Applicants must be able to reliably travel to and work at the students’ home-based learning locations, and should be able to work independently and collaboratively. An Educational Assistant Certificate, behaviour intervention training, and experience with AAC, emotional regulation supports, or TouchChat are assets but are not required.
