CULTIVATE A BETTER WORLD

Food served fast does not have to be a typical fast-food experience. Chipotle has always done things differently, both in and out of our restaurants. We are changing the face of fast food, starting conversations, and directly supporting efforts to shift the future of farming and food. We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Regional Recruiter, you will play a critical role in advancing Chipotle’s restaurant talent strategy by independently managing end-to-end recruitment for Restaurant Leadership positions across an assigned Canadian region.

You will develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, identify and assess qualified leadership candidates, and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support restaurant staffing needs. This is a high-volume, results-driven role requiring sound judgment, effective prioritization and autonomy while partnering closely with Field Leaders, Team Directors and cross-functional stakeholders.

Success requires more than managing applications and facilitating interviews. You will be accountable for consistently delivering qualified candidates, driving recruitment activity and conversion, identifying challenges and proactively implementing solutions that support restaurant staffing and growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Recruitment Ownership & Delivery

  • Independently manage end-to-end recruitment for Restaurant Leadership Roles including Kitchen Leaders, Service Leaders, Apprentices and General Managers, within an assigned region.
  • Proactively source, engage, screen and assess candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, professional networks and other channels.
  • Maintain consistent pipelines for priority requisitions and progress qualified candidates efficiently to hiring manager interviews.
  • Exercise sound judgment in assessing experience, leadership potential, transferable skills, operational fit and restaurant staffing requirements.
  • Prioritize recruitment based on staffing gaps, hiring urgency, timelines and new restaurant openings.
  • Own referrals, rehires and candidate follow-up through interview coordination, with timely communication and a positive candidate experience.

Recruitment Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Partner directly with Field Leaders and Team Directors to understand staffing needs, candidate requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Develop regional sourcing strategies for high-volume hiring, difficult-to-fill roles and new restaurant openings.
  • Provide informed candidate recommendations and market insights to support timely selection decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with Operations leaders through proactive communication and consistent delivery.
  • Support hiring events, recruitment campaigns and sponsored advertising, evaluating effectiveness in generating qualified candidates.

Recruitment Performance & Accountability

  • Monitor sourcing effectiveness, pipeline health, interview volume, candidate quality, hiring conversions and time-to-fill.
  • Identify gaps in applicant flow, candidate quality or hiring progress and independently adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, timely recruitment trackers, requisition records and reporting.
  • Recognize and escalate system disruptions, recruitment bottlenecks and material hiring risks.
  • Take accountability for consistent recruitment results that contribute to restaurant staffing objectives.

Recruitment Systems & Process Excellence

  • Serve as a knowledgeable user of Workday, Paradox, Indeed and LinkedIn recruitment tools.
  • Actively manage applications, interview scheduling, dispositions and requisition activity accurately and promptly.
  • Follow recruitment processes, employment legislation, company policies and candidate documentation requirements.
  • Support preboarding and onboarding for external hires, including compliance and employment documentation.
  • Identify improvements to recruiting processes, candidate experience and efficiency.

Collaboration & Additional Responsibilities

  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing, candidate assessment and recruiting best practices.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Operations and Centers of Excellence on regional talent strategies.
  • Support difficult-to-staff Crew markets through escalation and targeted recruitment initiatives when required.
  • Oversee the management and tracking of Health and Safety training and support other HR initiatives as needed, while maintaining primary accountability for recruitment delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills for leadership experience, transferable skills and role suitability.
  • Ability to prioritize competing hiring demands and exercise sound judgment with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn sourcing activity into measurable candidate pipelines, hiring manager interviews and hiring outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and relationship-building skills, including influencing operational leaders.
